Description

The accreditation covers:

  • Knowledge test on legislation, inspection standards and large commercial vehicle systems.

  • Practical inspection of vehicle components including brakes, steering, suspension, lights, tyres and chassis.

  • Identifying, categorising and recording defects.

  • Completing inspection documentation in line with industry requirements.

Prerequisites

Learners must have at least three years’ industrial experience in inspection or maintenance, or hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair with at least one year’s relevant experience.
